£3.50 Seniors £2 Juniors
The event is an Australian score (so called because I first met it in Australia rather than being an event with an upside down map).
There will be 20 controls on the map. Long course runners have to collect any 17 controls and short course any 11 controls.
You may not use the same control more than once.
To create head to head racing there will be a mass start for both courses together at 6.30p.m.
There are two popular strategies:
* Just follow someone who you know to be fast (I tried this and they were so fast that they dropped me after 8 controls with no real idea of where I was)
* Work out the optimum set to get and get them with the optimum route (I tried this as well with no better outcome)
NOTE: The Novice course will be a normal cross country point to point course
