Courses:
Long 4.6km
Short 2.7km
Easy 1.8km
COURSE NOTES:
The Easy is NOT all on paths.
It follows mainly fences, walls and earthbanks around enclosed sheep grazed fields. Some gateways are likely to be very muddy.
The Long and the Short both venture onto the open fell around Godworth, as well as using the rough open and lower fields of Leaps.
Both courses have fences to cross to and from the fell. Terrain is generally runnable if a little tussocky and marshy in places, with some patchy gorse.
Start: for the Easy course the Start is at Registration.
Start: for Long and Short the Start is about 750m east along the track from Registration.
The Finish for all courses is beside Registration.

New to Night Orienteering?
You need to bring a decent head torch (and maybe a spare and/or spare battery) and make sure to dress appropriately for the weather.
The first series of events, up to Christmas tend to be on easier areas so are suitable for those trying night orienteering for the first time.
Younger and/or inexperienced orienteers should be accompanied.
