Please approach the parking from Camerton village, not the gatehouse as this drive has been damaged by recent heavy rainfall.

Note: Parking space is limited so please arrange to share lifts if possible and park considerately. If you choose to park in the village and have a warm-up run along the approach road, please wear something bright so drivers can see you.

Short 3km
Trail (Red) 3.8km
Spark (Easy) 1.7km

Terrain:
Fast running on short grass. Some wet marshy ground too.
Please take care near the river and when crossing the track. All courses cross the track that we are using for parking.

Important Safety Notes:
- You must come and register before starting your run and you must return to registration to download even if you retire from your course.
- If you travelled to the event alone, you must state this at registration or leave your car keys.
- Please come prepared for bad weather and carry a whistle.

5.30-7pm

Courses Close: 

8pm. You MUST be back to download by this time, even if you retire, so we know you are back safe.

Other Notes: 

New to Night Orienteering?
- You need to bring a decent head torch (and maybe a spare and/or spare battery) and make sure to dress appropriately for the weather.
- Pre-Christmas events are on easier areas or planned to be fairly easy with Long, Short, Red and Easy courses available, so are suitable for those trying night orienteering for the first time.
- Younger and/or inexperienced orienteers should be accompanied.
