Don't forget to have a go at this year's "Beer Trail" which will remain open until mid-January. Many thanks to Pete and Barbara Nelson for planning and keeping the cache stocked once again!
This year is the Club's 50th anniversary. Several orienteering and social events are planned to celebrate our golden anniversary. For an update on the planned programme for 2017, click here (this page will continue to be updated as events and celebrations are finalised and organised).
This Sunday morning (11-12noon), take a break from those hectic Christmas preparations (!) for a fun run around the church and meadows by the river at Camerton. Ideal for novices, newcomers, and experienced orienteers alike. (Forecast is good, but it is winter so please come prepared for bad weather.)

Congratulations to the following WCOC members who finished with top scores in the Galoppen series this year - Isaac Hunter (Yellow), Hannah Birkinshaw and Wilf Teasdale (Orange), Jess Breeze and Henry Teasdale (Light Green), Liz Elliott and Syd Thomas (Short Green), and Simon Hunter (Brown). Despite these excellent results, WCOC were not able to retain the Borrowdale Trophy, which instead returns to LOC for the first time since 2002. For full results, click here.
