Camerton church

This Sunday morning (11-12noon), take a break from those hectic Christmas preparations (!) for a fun run around the church and meadows by the river at Camerton. Ideal for novices, newcomers, and experienced orienteers alike. (Forecast is good, but it is winter so please come prepared for bad weather.)

Congratulations to the following WCOC members who finished with top scores in the Galoppen series this year - Isaac Hunter (Yellow), Hannah Birkinshaw and Wilf Teasdale (Orange), Jess Breeze and Henry Teasdale (Light Green), Liz Elliott and Syd Thomas (Short Green), and Simon Hunter (Brown). Despite these excellent results, WCOC were not able to retain the Borrowdale Trophy, which instead returns to LOC for the first time since 2002. For full results, click here.

Congratulations also to the following WCOC juniors who have been selected to represent England at the World Schools Orienteering Championships in Italy next April: Caitlin Irving, Ben Breeze, Rosie Spencer, Niamh Hunter, Louis Morris, Joe Goodwin, Zac Hudd, Alastair Thomas and Daniel Spencer.
