Interested in the Jukola and / or Harvester relay?

Jukola 2017

Matthew Vokes is canvassing interest from WCOC members regards participating in the Jukola and / or Harvester relay this year:

69th Jukola Relay: 17th – 18th June 2017: Joensuu, Finland (organised by Kalevan Rasti – Thierry Gueorgiou’s club)

Format: 7 leg relay, starting at 11pm; (so probably 2 – 3 legs in darkness. The Harvester Relay (see below), is the UK’s answer to Jukola)

Last year nearly 1700 teams (yes, you read that right) took part.

Weather watch for Thursday's event at Bowness Knott...

This Thursday, join WCOC for a mid-week mini-adventure at Ling Fell, near Cockermouth. Long and Short technical courses, plus "Nighthawk" for those who fancy more running and easier navigation.

Many thanks to Anne Burbidge and Liz Elliot for all their hard work planning and organising a great Club Chase at Hawse End - finding somewhere as luxurious for next year's assembly venue is going to be a real challenge!
