Come along to Whinlatter Visitors' Centre and follow a trail through the woods (Thursday of Half Term). Get dressed up in your Halloween costumes and don't forget your torch to find your way. It's very dark and who knows what you'll find in the trees! Drinks and cakes for sale, all proceeds to WCOC Juniors.

The 2017 AGM will be held at Wild Zucchinis bistro, Station Street, Cockermouth at 7.00pm on Thurs 19 Oct. After the formal AGM business we will be having a delicious bistro style meal before splitting into groups to discuss issues on future developments of WCOC (see Agenda). Please read the Annual Reports, then come if you can to give your support and make a valuable contribution to the future success of WCOC.

England took the win by just 3 points at the Junior Home Internationals in Dolgellau, mid-Wales at the weekend 7-8 October. They went into the lead after the individual day on Saturday, and although Scotland put up a good fight, winning both Junior Men’s & Women’s Relays on Sunday, England won overall. Congratulations to the WCOC Juniors who were selected for the England Team and produced some brilliant results - Niamh and Joe H won their courses, with Alastair second and Caitlin third.
