The planner has checked this afternoon, and it seems possible to get to the event parking via Braithwaite, the Swindale Inn and Stair (rather than having to go round via Grange).

Please note that the Portinscale to Catbells road on the west side of Derwent Water is very likely to be closed due to roadworks.  Traffic is being diverted via Grange, adding an extra 10-15 minutes to the journey.  There may be an alternative via Stair in Newlands, but this may be closed too.  It is also narrow and may not be any quicker - we need to be mindful of local traffic.  No signage to the event will be in place because of this.  

Make sure that you leave plenty of time to get to the event!

Don't forget, a prize giving for the end of the winter Night Series will take place between 8:30 and 9:00pm in the Coledale Inn, Braithwaite after this event.
