There is limited parking at Hawse End Outdoor Centre itself. Cumbria Outdoors have kindly given us permission to use some of their parking – please follow their instructions if you intend to park at the centre.

“We have parking bays down the lane, just past the main house which can take about 10 cars but they must be fully in the bays and not blocking the lane at all, in case it is needed for emergency use or the farmer”

There is good parking at the car park at the bottom of Cat Bells (marked on OS maps at NY 245 211). If this is busy then limited roadside parking can be found in the vicinity of the turning for the outdoor centre and further along the road past the s bend and cattle grid.
