Many club members have been enticed away from the local delights of Whinlatter Fell and Threlkeld Knotts to give WCOC representation internationally. Well done to the Irvings for making it to O-Ringen 2016, where Caitlin came 87th in new terrain against tough competition. Closer to home, there was success at Croeso (in South Wales) with podium places for Sue Skinner (3rd W50), Rosie Spencer (3rd W14), Roger Thomas (3rd M55S), and Wilf Teasdale (2nd M12), along with top ten finishes for Isabel Sunley (4th W12), Carys Thomas (4th W14), Lynne Thomas (4th W45), Catherine Wetherfield (4th W50S), Joe Sunley (9th M14), Simon Hunter (5th M45), and Ian Teasdale (8th M55S).
