Congratulations to all the runners representing England at the World School Champs in Antalya, Turkey this week, and espcially our very own WCOC juniors Alastair, Niamh and Daniel.  They have produced some outstanding individual and team results, including: individual Gold (long distance) and Silver (middle distance) for Alastair, team Gold for the Junior Boys (including Alastair and Daniel) and team Bronze for the Junior Girls (including Niamh)!!  Fantastic!!

WCOC were well represented in the relays today at the beautiful Graythwaite Estate, and collectively produced many good runs.

Well done to all the WCOC juniors who braved illness, injury and the elements to take on the massed ranks of LOC in today's Yvette Baker qualifier at Askham Fell. Despite many good performances (again!) we just missed out on the first place. Many thanks to Vanessa, Junior Team Captain, for her efforts co-ordinating and organising all the entries today (while modelling the very latest in wet weather gear). Make sure you are all fit and well and let's see if we can do even better at the JK next weekend...

Final Orient8 session - Tuesday (14th April) 6:30-7:30pm in Harris Park, Cockermouth.

If you have never tried this fantastic family sport before, come and give it a go.  If you have already tried it and want to improve your skills, come along.  The sessions are for children and adults to enjoy and learn together.  No experience needed, just a positive attitude!  Kit needed – just trainers and clothes to be active in – no high heels!
